The Braumlids

The Braumlid people are a chaos born race of the planes transported en masse to the lowlands of Nizour by the Anathema Nelvodun. The race is similar to humans but stand only 2 inches tall. Despite their diminutive size their technology is quite advanced and on par with 1940’s earth. Their war torn planet has been completely overrun by the forces of Chancelor Ho-Vuhn’s “Seventh Son Empirium” and his eldritch wishes for “more worlds to conquer” was accepted in a counter-offer of chaos and blood.

Braumlids may scout in small, hard to see groups on horseback or in small vehicles. They will only openly attack when they can bring battalion strength or greater to the fore.

A battalion consists of four to six companies. And one or two headquarters which may be remote and contain airfields or supply dumps. Treat companies as low HD creatures and limit damage taken to one point at a time unless it is “area of effect” or similar in nature. This accounts for having to step on single tanks or wipe out platoons one at a time. Depending on technology available to the armies encountered there may be anything from tanks and mid altitude bombers which could be quite difficult to contend with to sappers and snipers which may cause all manner of covert annoyance.

A company likely deals damage similar to the damage from a low hit die creature but dice and modifiers can be adjusted depending on specific armament or situation.

Unless the nature of their defeat is quite brutal and all encompassing (massive fire, poison clouds, etc) 40 to 60 percent of the combatants will likely survive to regroup and rearm to fight another day.

The 4th Army of the Hargland is a well known and highly decorated group that has pillaged Nizour for years. They are well armed with aircraft, tracked artillery, mechanized infantry, and at least one tiny hydrogen bomb. The army is commanded by General Canz Eidor who has promised his Chancellor the destruction of a Titan City.

While that may seem a lofty task for a force so small in stature, the regular capture of Braumlid spies in cities like Raspkatoon on Shell and Urbitahn Keep serve as warning to the tenacity of this menace.
